Bhubaneswar, Oct 5: This Navratri Festival, the Canara Bank Bhubaneswar Circle has taken a noble initiative to promote the health and hygiene among the girl students and staff of educational institution across Odisha.
The Canara Bank authorties, as a part of its social responsibility are installing both Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine and Sanitary Napking Disposal Machine.
To kick start this noble initiative, Canara Bank General Manager & State Head Jagdish Chander handed over Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine and Sanitary Napking Disposal Machine today to KMBB Junior Science College, Naranpur, in Cuttack. Principle of College along with other Bank executives and College officials were also present on the event.
The Canara Bank is installing at least 20 such machines at various Educational Institutions covering multiple cities including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Berhampur and Sambalpur.
The Canara Bank will ensure these machines are refilled timely for at least next six months.
The noble venture of the Canara Bank will be phenomenal in maintaining personal hygiene and aware girl students of clean and healthy living.
