Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday purchased a ticket for the India vs England ODI match, scheduled to be held at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on 9 February, Odisha Cricket Association Secretary Sanjay Behera along with other members visited the chief minister's office.
The online and the offline sales of tickets for the public will begin in the first week of February. The counter sales of tickets will be open four days before the match at Barabati Stadium. The ODI match returned to Barabati Stadium after a long gap, the last match was held Ind Vs West Indies on 22nd December 2022.
The CMO wrote in its X handle, “Barabati Stadium in Cuttack will host a one-day international cricket match between India and England on February 9. Officials from the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA), including acting president Pankaj Mohanty and secretary Sanjay Behera, met the CM along with Angul MLA and member of the Apex Council Pratap Pradhan, secretary of Odisha Olympic Association Abhijit Pal, and former legislator Lalitendu Mahapatra. On this occasion, the CM bought the first match ticket.”
