Balasore, February 22: In an unprecedented incident, the Chennai-New Jalpaigudi Express stalled at Odisha’s Balasore on Friday due to powerbox related issues.
Operation of the train was resumed after a batterybox that accidentally fell off the train from its chamber, was reinstalled.
The incident came to the notice at the Sabira railway station in the afternoon.
Sources said, the battery box of the train engine fell off at the Sabira station all of a sudden. On being aware of power outage the loco pilot carefully halted the train to get rid of further incident.
