Bhubaneswar, Sept 30: With another leap forward towards curbing cybercrimes, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday rolled out Cyber Surakshya Abhiyan at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
During the occasion , the CM urged the denizens to remain vigil and secured while dealing with internet mediated financial transactions.
Under this mission as many as 34 cyber surakshya Raths were flagged off which will roll across the state and create mass awareness in the schools, colleges, Blocks and gram panchayat areas against the rising cybercrime
The district administration will welcome the cyber safety awareness Raths. The chariot will visit at least two institutions every day. The raths with pictorials and audio visuals will aware people in public places. Similarly the school and college students will be sensitized on the matter through quiz competitions.
Further, Mini Marathon will be organised in different towns on October 8. On October 14, evening walk will be organised to aware senior citizens.
Women members of Mission Shakti , ASHA and Anganwadi workers will facilitate the program to ensure people’s participation in this regard.
