Cuttack, Ap 21: In preparation of the grand Chandini Chowk Jagannath Rath Yatra in Cuttack, a meeting was recently held by the temple management committee. The meeting was presided over by the committee’s working president, Shikari Das.
The session began with a two-minute silent tribute to the late senior member of the committee, Rahasbihari Singh. Advocate Bishwanath Das, the organization’s secretary, presented the detailed schedule for this year’s Rath Yatra.
As in previous years, the festival will be held at the temporary Gundicha Temple. Responsibilities were distributed among the committee members, officials, and Daitapati sevayats to ensure smooth conduct of festival.
Vijay Kumar Pradhan was officially appointed as a member of the temple management committee.
Several dignitaries and members were present during the meeting.
