New Delhi, Feb 8: In a gesture of admiration and support, a young AAP supporter arrived at Arvind Kejriwal's residence dressed like him to show support for the party on the day of the Delhi Assembly election counting on Saturday.
Wearing a Kejriwal-like sweater, muffler, and glasses, the young fan, Avyan Tomar, a first-grade student, caught the attention of onlookers.
Avyan’s father, Rahul Tomar said, "We always come here on result days. The party has even given him the nickname 'Baby Muffler Man'."
On the other hand, as the counting of votes for the recently held Delhi assembly elections is underway, early trends show the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) returning to power in the National Capital after 27 years.
As per the latest trends, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was leading in 40 seats, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in 30 seats. The Congress was trailing with zero seats.
Notably, the majority mark to form the government in the National Capital is 36.
In addition to Delhi, counting for by-elections in Uttar Pradesh's Milkipur seat and Tamil Nadu's Erode seat is also ongoing. All necessary security arrangements have been made.
