Bhubaneswar, Dec 3: As a part of social mission, the HDFC Bank organized a Mega Blood Donation Camp at KIMS Medical College in Bhubaneswar on Monday.
The voluntary blood donation camp conducted by the Bank authorities in association with the Youth Red Cross Society, KIIT, was inaugurated by Dr. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty Registar, KIIT University along with HDFC Bank State Head Suraj Chettri.
As many as 70 units of blood were collected by the Blood Bank Officials wherein many students and enthusiast first time blood donor came forward to be the part of the noble event.
Youth Red Cross Society along with staff from the HDFC Bank came forward with an excellent response and coordination for the success of the noble event.
HDFC Bank State Head Suraj Chettri while gracing the occasion inspired the students and youths to induct their family members and friends to donate blood, which is indeed a magical life-drop for the needy ones.
Among others, HDFC Bank Circle Head Deepak Pattanaik, Currency Chest Head Sambit Mohapatra and DSW Prof. Chitralekha Mohanty were present on the social occasion to encourage the volunteers.
