Bhubaneswar, December 14: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted cold and dry weather for several districts in Odisha from December 15 to December 19, with light rain expected in some areas.
Dense fog is anticipated in one or two places in Kandhamal, while shallow fog may occur in Kalahandi.
On Sunday, dry conditions will persist in Jharsuguda and Sundargarh, with shallow to moderate fog possible in Kalahandi and Kandhamal.
Similar dry weather is expected on Monday, with shallow fog in Kalahandi and surrounding areas.
Tuesday will bring light rain to parts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, and Rayagada, while the rest of the state remains dry.
Wednesday will see similar conditions, with light rain in parts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Rayagada, Khurda, Nayagarh, Koraput, and Malkangiri.
On Thursday, light to moderate rain is forecast for areas in Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi, with dry weather in the rest of Odisha.
