Malkangiri, March 6: In a tragic incident in Malkangiri, a Class X examinee was crushed to death on his way to exam center on Thursday.
The road mishap took place near Chandanguda area in Odisha’ Malkangiri district at about 9 AM.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
According to reports, two students from MV-101 village were on their way to the Matric examination centre at Serpalli area on a bike. Meanwhile, a speeding pickup van coming from the opposite direction hit the bike causing death of a student on the spot and leaving other critical.
The injured one was rushed to the Malkangiri DHH for resuscitation who later managed to appear the examination after recovery.
Police seized the body and vehicles involved in the incident, from the spot.
