Bhubaneswar, March 6: At least 1.85L women beneficiaries are going to credit their first time assistance under the Subhadra Yojna today.
According to the government’s announcement, the amount will be directly credited to the women’s savings accounts during the banking hours.
With it, as many as 1.20 crore women beneficiaries registered under the Subhadra Yojna will be benefited as on the fifth phase of disbursal.
Apart from the eligible beneficiaries as many as 1.08 crore applications are still pending with the department that is under scrutiny. The government is working out on them for finalizing the entitled ones. A field-level survey is going to begin soon to ensure that no eligible woman remains left out from availing the Subhadra assistance.
