Just before 48 hrs to the release of the film, the theatre chains here have increased the number of showings of the Sukumar directed movie by 333% - 66%. The capital city will be holding over 80 shows on Day 1
Moreover, at some cinema chains, the ticket prices of VIP and Premium seats for specific show times have been increased by 20%.
The rise in Pushpa 2 showing and jacking up of ticket prices by around 20% portrays in cinemascope the All Arjun crazite denizens of the State Capital City. The unprecedented increase in show timings led to fall in occupancy in Bhubaneswar from around 85% to mere 30%.

- PVR Utkal Galleria was earlier holding 4 shows, now the counts were up at 14. The prime category tickets have been a complete sell out within hours
- Veena Theatre in Jatni is holding 7 shows, within hours of booking, the tickets for 4shows were a complete sellout.
- In Cuttack, Pushpa 2 The Rule will be releasing in 2 cinemas – INOX and Sangam.
- INOX has increased the number of shows to 13, after almost sell out in 6 shows.
- The occupancy is 80% in Sangam Cinema.

- The reports from Cinepolis put the occupancy at around 40%. And for Cinecaarnival, it has been around 60%. The Day 1 occupancy here may touch around 85-90%.
