Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Minister K V Singh Deo, and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik extended their heartfelt New Year 2025 greetings to the people of Odisha, praying for happiness and prosperity for all.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, in his message, encouraged citizens to pledge their efforts toward building a prosperous and developed Odisha. "With the blessings of Lord Jagannath, may this new year bring joy, happiness, and prosperity to everyone's life. Let’s pledge to give our best contribution to building a better Odisha," he said.
Deputy Chief Minister K V Singh Deo also shared his wishes through a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. "May this year bring you unparalleled peace and happiness. It is my earnest prayer to Prabhu Jagannath that each one of you experiences a year of immense blessings and tranquillity," he wrote.
Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik echoed similar sentiments. Taking to X, he said, "Warm greetings and best wishes for the New Year 2025. May Lord Jagannath bless everyone with happiness and prosperity."
The state’s top leaders collectively invoked the blessings of Lord Jagannath and called for unity and commitment toward Odisha’s development as the new year unfolds.
