Kantabanji, May 2: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik officially entered the electoral fray by filing his nomination papers from the Kantabanji Assembly constituency.

The filing took place at the Sub-Collector office in Titlagarh.
Patnaik commenced his journey for the nomination process by arriving at the Tushra Aerodrome at 10:25 am. Subsequently, he made a visit to the City School field. He paid homage to his father and former Odisha Chief Minister, Biju Patnaik, at Biju Patnaik Chowk.

Worth mentioning, the BJD supremo had already filed nomination papers for the Hinjili Assembly seat, marking his participation in the upcoming elections.
