Odisha Girl aces Tamil Talent Exam, proving language knows no boundaries

K Jansi Rani, a 16-year-old student originally from Ganjam district in Odisha, has just proved that dedication and hard work can overcome any language barrier. She aced the Tamil Talent Search Examination (TTSE) with a score of 91 out of 100, surprising and delighting many!

Jansi, who lives with her family in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, developed a love for the Tamil language from a young age. She and her sister made a pact to speak Tamil with each other, even at home, and this constant practice clearly paid off.

The TTSE is held every year by the Tamil Nadu School Education Department to encourage students who excel in Tamil. For Jansi, it was an opportunity to showcase her passion for the language and her dedication to learning. And with a score of 91, she's definitely proven her skills. Jansi credits her teachers for her success. They went the extra mile, conducting special classes and providing study materials to help her prepare for the exam. Her headmaster, S Socrateeskulasekaran, is incredibly proud of her achievement.

She has already cleared several other scholarship exams, including the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS), the Tamil Nadu Rural Students Talent Search Examination (TRuST), and the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Talent Search Examination (TNCMTSE).
