Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Para Athletics Championship 2024-25 is set to take place from 22nd to 24th December 2024 at the Kalinga Stadium here. Jointly organized by the Para Sports Association of Odisha (PSAO) and supported by the Department of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Odisha, this championship promises to be a significant event in promoting inclusivity in sports.
The championship will feature para-athletes competing across three categories Physical Disabilities, Visual Impairments and Intellectual Disabilities.
The championship serves as a talent identification platform. Athletes delivering exceptional performances and meeting the minimum qualification standard (MQS) will earn the opportunity to represent Odisha at the 23rd National Para Athletics Championship 2024-25, slated for the last week of February in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Eligible athletes are encouraged to submit their entries before the deadline: midnight on 10th December 2024 to Markand Reddy, Chairman, Para Athletics Odisha.
