New Delhi, Jan 3: The Ministry of Defence has rejected the state’s tableau proposal for the Republic Day parade 2025 after five rigorous rounds of selection.
The decision has left many disheartened, as the prestigious Kartavya Path parade in New Delhi is a prominent platform to showcase the cultural and artistic heritage of Indian states. Despite this setback, Odisha’s tableau will still be featured at the Bharat Parv event, held near the Red Fort from 26th to 31st January, offering an opportunity to highlight the state’s rich traditions and history.
This year’s Republic Day parade will feature tableaux from states such as Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and select Union Territories, celebrating the nation’s diversity.
