Bhubaneswar, Ap 26: In the aftermath of the devastating Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian government has intensified measures against Pakistani nationals residing in the country.
Acting on this directive, a Pakistani woman living in Bhubaneswar has been served notice and is preparing to return to Pakistan within the stipulated deadline.
The woman had been residing in Bhubaneswar on a long-term visa since 2008. However, her visa expired earlier this year, in 2024.
Reports suggest that she had earlier approached the Commissionerate Police seeking an exit permit to travel back to Pakistan, but her application had been rejected at the time.
Following the terror attack in Pahalgam, which left 28 people dead, fresh instructions were issued for all Pakistani nationals to leave India.
