Paris, Aug 1: India won another Bronze medal in Paris Olympics 2024 in shooting. Shooter Swapnil Kusale clinched a Bronze in the 50m rifle 3 Positions event on Thursday.
It was India's third Bronze medal in shooting in Paris Games.
Swapnil won the Bronze with a total score of 451.4. The Gold went to China’s Yukun Liu for a score of 463.6, and Ukraine’s Serhiy Kulish (461.3) won Silver.
Earlier Indian shooter Manu Bhaker won the first medal (Bronze) in the women's 10m air pistol event and then clinched a Bronze again in the 10m air pistol mixed team event with Sarabjot Singh.
Worth mentioning that this is also the first time India have won more than two medals in one sport at a single Olympic Games.
