Bhubaneswar: When the roaring show of Pushpa 2 The rule has been reverberating across the world theatres – from USA to India, South superstar Allu Arjun’s movie Pushpa 2 had hit the Saudi Arabia censor wall.
As per reports just received, the censor board in Saudi Arabia has trimmed the Mythrii Movie Makers film Pushpa 2 The Rule. Saudi Arabia's censor board had applied a total ban on the most popular scene of Pushpa 2 – th Gangamma Jathra epidsode where Allu Arjun is seen dressing like women sporting a blue saree with female costumes.
As per reports, Pushpa 2 The Rule will be released in Saudi Arabia sans the full scene of Gangamma Jathra. The report suggests some minor cuts in other song scenes, too. As a consequence, the run time of the movie in Saudi Arabia has got trimmed by about 19 minutes (Total length will be 3hours 1 minute).
PUSHPA 2 BROKE JAWAN HINDI RECORD
The Allu Arjun starred film Pushpa 2 became the 1st south India film to make it into the top Day 1 advance booking ticket sale and gross collection in the realms of Hindi cinemas. As per the reports, Pushpa 2 The rule has sold advance tickets for the release day totaling over 12.96 lakh in Hindi version and had grossed Rs 37.82 cr without block seats, which shows the popular demand.
The SRK starred Jawan had the record of minting Rs 36.7 cr (including bloc ticket) via advance ticket sale for the opening day of its Hindi version.
Ranbir Kapoor starred mega blockbuster Animal was second to SRK’s Jawan in terms of Day 1 Advance booking gross and ticket sale.
The film had grossed Rs 29.25cr from a total ticket sale of 10.3lakh.
