New Delhi, Jan 3: As India prepares to celebrate its 76th Republic Day, the capital city of Delhi is abuzz with anticipation.
The grand Republic Day Parade, scheduled for 26th January 2025, will highlight the theme ‘Golden India: Heritage and Development,’ showcasing the country’s rich culture and progress.
The Ministry of Defence, in collaboration with various states and Union Territories, has worked meticulously to enhance the quality of floats, promising an unforgettable spectacle.
Tickets for the Republic Day Parade and the Beating Retreat Ceremony are now available, with prices starting at ₹100 for the parade and ₹20 for the Beating Retreat rehearsal on 28th January. Sales began on 2nd January 2025 and will continue until 11th January or until the daily quota is exhausted.
Tickets can be purchased online through the ‘Aamantran’ mobile app or the official website at aamantran.mod.gov.in. Additionally, offline ticket booths are operational at key locations in Delhi, including Sena Bhawan, Shastri Bhawan, Jantar Mantar, Pragati Maidan, and Rajiv Chowk Metro Station.

Booth timings: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and 2:00 PM–4:30 PM.
A valid photo ID is mandatory for both ticket purchase and event attendance.
This year’s celebrations will feature performances by 15 states and Union Territories, alongside 11 ministries and government departments.
The vibrant floats will reflect India’s diversity and progress.
The festivities will continue with the ‘Bharat Parv’ festival at the iconic Red Fort from 26th to 31st January. States will have an opportunity to showcase their cultural and artistic heritage during this week-long event.
