Bhubaneswar, January 1: Senior Odisha Cadre IPS Susanta Kumar Nath has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP).
Nath,a 1993 batch IPS who is now on central deputation is allowed proforma promotion to the grade of DG of police in IPS in level-16 of pay matrix.
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday.
Besides Nath, two more senior IPS officers have been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP) in Odisha, with the order.
Senior IPS officers Vinaytosh Mishra and RP Koche have been promoted to the grade of DGP.
“Senior IPS officers Vinaytosh Mishra and RP Koche, both belong to 1993-batch, have been promoted to the grade of DGP in the Level-16 of Pay Matrix,” read the notification.
