Hyderabad, January 8: In a tragic incident, six devotees and more than 150 persons were injured in a stampede that occurred at the renowned Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday evening. while devotees were running for tokens at Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan ticketing centers, the stampede happened.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his shock and grief over the incident, calling it a "deeply disturbing accident."
Chief Minister has directed senior officials to immediately visit the spot and coordinate relief efforts, ensuring that the injured receive proper medical treatment.
