The State Bank of India has issued an official notification for the recruitment of sportspersons to Officers and Clerical positions on a contractual basis. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply. The application and payment process commenced on July 24, 2024, and will continue until August 14, 2024.

Eligibility criteria:
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply for both positions. However, candidates applying for the officer role must have represented the country at the international level in the past 3 years. Aspirants applying for clerical positions should have represented the State in a National event, or the District in a State-level event, or the University in an Inter University event with distinction, or have been a member of the Combined Universities Team with distinction.
Age limit:
For Clerical Positions: Between 20 years and 28 years.
For Officer Positions: Between 21 years and 30 years.

Selection Process
The selections process consists of 3 assessment parameters:
Parameter I: Assessment of recognised achievements in sports
Parameter II: Assessment of general intelligence/ knowledge of game/ personality etc.
Parameter III: Assessment of activeness and physical fitness
Application fees
Candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC category are required to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs 750. However, SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates are exempted from paying any fees.
