Bhubaneswar, January 28: In a bid to deal with the backlog regarding Subhadra Scheme, Banks in Odisha will organize special 2-day NPCI clearance drive for left out beneficiaries.
Odisha Deputy CM and Minister for Women & Child Development, Pravati Parida informed it on today.
Parida said, special desks in all lead banks will facilitate to clear up the NPCI failure that disallows direct transfer of assistance under the Subhadra Yojna to the accounts of the beneficiaries.
Owing to the technical problems, tens of thousands of deserving beneficiaries are yet to credit their Subhadra assistance, said Parida.
Following the NPCI compliances, assistances under the Subhadra Yojna will be soon credited to the accounts preferably on March 8, said Parida.
However, Parida urged the women beneficiaries who were affected by the NPCI failure, should contact their respective banks either on 29th or 30th January at the special desks for assistance.
Worth mentioning, the NCPI Clearance Desks in Odisha-based banks will remain open during the working hours on January 29 and 30.
