Ayodhya, Jan 22: On the auspicious occasion of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Lord Ram, internationally acclaimed sand artist and Padma Shri Awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik created world’s largest sand sculpture of Lord Ram.

As per reports, Pattnaik crafted the 55-foot-long, 23-foot-tall and 35-foot-wide sand art with seven of his students at Ram Katha Park near Saryu river in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya.

The sand art has been decorated with 500 miniature replicas of Ayodhya Ram Mandir. The art features Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on either side taking blessings of Lord Ram.

The sand art made it to the World Records Book of India as the world’s largest sand sculpture of Lord Ram.

CM Yogi visited the Ram Katha Park today and was seen taking selfie with the sand sculpture. He posed for photos in front of the sculpture and also shared it on his official ‘X’ handle.
