Chennai, Oct 12: Owing to the exigency resulted following the Tamil Nadu train accident that took place on Saturday, a number of significant Express trains have been diverted and rescheduled in view of passengers' convenience.
DRM Vijayawada Division has issued notifications in this connection, right after the mishap.
According to the notification, due to accident of Tr.No.12578 Mysuru Junction - Dharbhanga Bagmati Superfast Express Tr.No.13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Express and Train No. 02122 Jabalpur - Madurai are diverted.
Apart from it, some other trains both passenger and Express, which used to pass through the affected Kavarapettai Station under the Chennai Railway Division limit, have also been diverted as per need.
