New Delhi, Nov 24: Tech billionaire Elon Musk on Saturday applauded the Indian robust electoral policy comparing it with US’s election system.
Musk in one of his tweets, thanked the Election Commission of India in handling elections in as many as three states simultaneously and dealing with at least 640 million votes in a day.
On the other hand, the Tesla CEO and the founder of SpaceX also took a jibe at the US Presidential Election and its delayed vote counting process indicating the dilemmas in California where counting of votes is underway.
Taking to X, Musk wrote “India counted 640 million votes in 1 day. California is still counting votes,” wrote Elon Musk on X, while sharing a screenshot of an article on Indian poll counting.
The tech billionaire's post comes phenomenal with respect to the California poll as it was conducted on Nov 5 whereas counting of as many as 570,500 ballots statewide are yet to be counted, as per the report of the Los Angeles Daily.
