Puri, Feb 12: In a tragic incident, three youths were killed after their bike crashed against a roadside structure on the Konark-Kakatpur Road near Badhei Square in Odisha’s Puri district last night.
The deceased have been identified as Deepak Malik (21), Sagar Malik (22), and Satyaprakash Sahu (19).
As per reports, the mishap occurred at around 1:15 am last night when the trio was on their way to Kakatpur. The driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels and it crashed against a roadside wall
Some locals from Charichak rescued the victims and rushed them to a nearby medical facility. Unfortunately, two of them were declared dead and another succumbed to the injuries during treatment.
Upon getting the information, local police arrived at the spot and seized the bodies. Subsequently, the bodies were sent for post-mortem.
Further investigation into the fatal accident is underway.
