Two Odisha Cadre IPS Officers sent to Center assigning key roles in national security forces

Bhubaneswar, April 26: Amidst tension on the Indo-Pak borders following the Pahalgam terror attack, two Odisha Cadre IPS Officers were sent to the Center to hold key roles in Central security forces.

The Union Home Ministry on Saturday issued notification in this connection.

According to official orders dated April 24, senior IPS Officer Ravi Kanta has been appointed Inspector General (IG) in the BSF, while Mitrabhanu Mahapatra has been designated as Deputy Inspector General (DIG).
