Bhubaneswar, April 10: The spirit of Hindu-Muslim unity and harmony was beautifully showcased during the Ram Navami celebrations in Bhadrak and Balasore districts of Odisha. 

Muslims were seen extending warm greetings to their Hindu neighbors and fellow brothers with flowers and water, offering support in the scorching heat. They also provided ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) to devotees, showing their care and concern for the participants.

This heartwarming scene highlighted the deep interfaith harmony between the two communities across various areas in both districts. In return, Hindus also expressed their gratitude and goodwill towards their Muslim brothers and sisters, reinforcing the spirit of mutual respect and unity.

Ram Navami is a Hindu festival that is celebrated in order to honour the birth of Lord Vishnu’s incarnation, Lord Rama. This day marks the end of the nine-day Chaitra-Navratri celebrations, which are celebrated in the Hindu month of Chaitra which falls on the cusp of spring and summer.
