Bhubaneswar: The US Elections 2024 has been historic for two reasons. First, former President Donald Trump is in the poll ring canvassing big and aiming to accomplish an electoral feat that has only been achieved once (by Grover Cleveland in 1892 US elections) in US history – regaining the White House after previously losing re-election.
Secondly, President Joe Biden jumped out of the poll ring by handing over the gloves to Vice President Kamala Harris. Though, this is not the first time a sitting president has withdrawn from a re-election campaign (President Lyndon Johnson (Democrat Party) did so in 1968). However, it is the first after 56 years.
In the moment of history repeating itself and when the US will vote for its next President on November 5, who – Republican Candidate and former Prez Donald Trump or Democrat Candidate VP Kamala Harris – will don the ‘historic’ crown?

NEW HAMPSHIRE: Has only 4 electoral votes. Had voted the Republican since 2000. This state swung to Biden in 2020. Thereby, it turned a swing state.
NEVADA: has 6 electoral votes. Republicans have not flipped the state in the last four presidential cycles.. Trump lost Nevada in 2016 and 2020 by less than 3 percentage points. Will it revert back to Republicans after two consecutive Democrat tilt?
