Bhubaneswar, Mar 1: Odisha's Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has acknowledged a discrepancy in the Science question paper of the annual matriculation examination held on Saturday.
The issue was noticed by students and teachers after the question papers were distributed to candidates across 3,111 centres statewide. It was discovered that the Science question paper in Set-C contained a total of 96 marks instead of the standard 100. In contrast, the other three sets for the same subject had questions totaling 100 marks.
BSE President Srikant Tarai said, “A 4-mark question was missing from the ‘C’ set. The Board will address the issue and ensure that students are not impacted. Measures will be taken during the evaluation of the answer sheets.”
