Bhubaneswar, March 1: The political scene in Odisha is heating up following the Crime Branch's decision to summon Dipali and Bishal, the daughter and son of the late BJD minister Naba Kishore Das, as part of the ongoing murder investigation.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has called for the bereaved family to formally address their concerns if they feel dissatisfied with the investigation's progress. The BJP emphasized that Dipali has already spoken out publicly about the direction of the probe. They urged both Dipali and Bishal to present any grievances directly to the Crime Branch if they believed the inquiry was inadequate.

Meanwhile, Congress has demanded a Special Investigation Team (SIT) or Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the case. "The Crime Branch conducted a detailed investigation initially, but there has been little progress since. We insist on an SIT or CBI probe to ensure justice is served," stated Basudevpur Congress MLA Ashok Kumar Das.
