Suhani Bhatnagar who played young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan’s blockbuster movie ‘Dangal’ passed away. She was only 19.

Mumbai, Feb 17: Suhani Bhatnagar who played young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan’s blockbuster movie ‘Dangal’ passed away. She was only 19.

 

Though the exact cause of her untimely demise remains unclear, reports suggest that fluid accumulation in her body may have been a factor. 

 

Worth mentioning, Suhani had sustained a leg fracture in an accident and was undergoing treatment, which unfortunately led to adverse reactions from prescribed medications, resulting in fluid retention.

 

Suhani had been receiving medical care at the prestigious AIIMS Delhi Hospital for an extended period. This devastating news has left her fans heartbroken.

 

Her portrayal of the youthful Babita Phogat in 'Dangal' was widely lauded, showcasing her exceptional talent. Additionally, she had made notable appearances in television commercials. Despite receiving offers following her success in 'Dangal', Suhani opted to take a hiatus from acting to concentrate on her education.

 

It was her aspiration to re-enter the film industry once she completed her studies, a dream tragically cut short. Suhani Bhatnagar's passing is a profound loss to the entertainment world, and she will be deeply missed.
