Notable candidates include national convener Arvind Kejriwal, who will contest from New Delhi, Chief Minister Atishi from Kalkaji, Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj from Greater Kailash, and Minister Gopal Rai from Babarpur.
Other candidates in the list are Satyendra Kumar Jain (Shakur Basti), Durgesh Pathak (Rajinder Nagar), Ramesh Pehalwan (Kasturba Nagar), Raghuvinder Shokeen (Nangloi Jat), Som Dutt (Sadar Bazar), Imran Hussain (Ballimaran), and Jarnail Singh (Tilak Nagar). Notably, the list includes two new names: Ramesh Pehalwan, who will contest from Kasturba Nagar, and Pooja Naresh Balyan, who will contest from Uttam Nagar. Pooja is the wife of Naresh Balyan, and both joined AAP in the presence of Arvind Kejriwal.
This list largely repeats 36 of the party's current MLAs, with the addition of the two new candidates. On Friday, AAP had already released its third list of candidates, which included Tarun Yadav from Najafgarh Assembly. Earlier, on December 9, the party unveiled its second list, making significant changes by dropping 17 sitting MLAs and replacing them with new faces.
