The iconic film is celebrating its 25 years since the release of this movie on March 31, 2000.
As the film still holds sway over the cinephiles, and movie buffs still love still love watching this movie, the news doing round is the Makers will re-release the film in theaters on the 25th anniversary.
The producer of the film Firoz Nadiadwala has spoken on the subject.
In conversation with Bollywood ruckus, Nadiadwala said it was a decision I alone won't take alone.
He said, “On papers I am the owner of the movie but morally Akshay ji, Paresh ji and Sunil ji are also the owner of the movie so we will decide together.”
However, what gives the re-release news a booster is Firoz Nadiadwala’s this statement.
He said, “I am sure, Hera Pheri will rock the box office whenever the movie will be re-released.”
BIG UPDATE ON HERA PHERI 3
The script of Hera Pheri 3 has not been prepared till date.
The insider buzz is that Director Priyadarshan will work on the script of Hera Pheri 3 after locking the edit of Bhoot Bangla. The buzz added that script of Akshay Kumar starred Hera Pheri will be taken up in June 2025.
After locking the script, Hera Pheri will go on floors by December 2025. The schedule is to wrap of the shooting of Hera Pheri 3 by May 2026. So that, the film will hit the silverscreens in the year 2026.
