The film is inspired by The Case That Shook the Empire, a book by Pushpa Palat and Raghu Palat. It brings to life one of India’s most crucial but lesser-known legal battles against British rule. Actress Regina Cassandra joins the cast as Akshay Kumar’s wife.
The project has a strong team of producers, including Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari. Karan Singh Tyagi and Amritpal Singh Bindra have co-written the screenplay. Marijke D’Souza, Somen Mishra, and Vedant Bali serve as co-producers.
