Bhubaneswar: The wildfire charisma of superstar Allu Arjun seems to ‘double’ soon. The superstar has been recently signed by Atlee for a super-big budget movie.
It seems the stylish star would ‘double’ his screen magic in the Atlee’s upcoming big project.
As per reports, the Telugu superstar will play twin brothers in upcoming Atlee’s high-energy entertainer. Fans are eagerly awaiting for an official announcement soon on Allu Arjun’s Double Dhamaka.
A special promo is set to drop on the star – Allu Arjun’s – birthday.
ATLEE DOUBLE ROLE FORMULA
Atlee is known for making films with dual roles in the past. His hits like Mersal, Bigil, and Jawan have followed this theme. He is, now, taking it to a bigger level with Allu Arjun in the lead. Reports say Allu Arjun will be playing twin brother in the film but dwelling in a parallel universe.
This dwelling in parallel universe hints at the Pushpa 2 star playing the role of both hero and villain.
Nonetheless, the movie will be going to combine intense action, stunning visual effects, and a thrilling story.
ATLEE TUNED SCRIPT TO ALLU ARJUN
When Atlee was planning to make the film with Salman Khan and Rajnikant/KamalHasan, he had a different script in mind. He planned it as a two-hero project starring Salman Khan alongside a top South Indian actor. The original story included a reincarnation angle.
Post dropping the project, and deciding to take Allu Arjun, the story had undergone a major transformation. The script has been reworked. The reincarnation subplot was scrapped, making Allu Arjun the sole lead in this high-octane thriller.
The film is designed as a VFX-heavy spectacle with an intense and modern storyline.
ALLU ARJUN – ATLEE FILM TO FEATURE 3 FEMALE LEADS
Produced by Sun Pictures, the film promises to bring a large-scale theatrical experience.
Reports suggest it will feature three leading ladies and an ensemble cast, bringing together talent from Bollywood and South Indian cinema. The goal is to make it a true pan-India spectacle, appealing to audiences across regions.
Pre-production is expected to begin next month, with shooting likely to start between August and September. Meanwhile, Atlee and Allu Arjun are working on a high-energy promo to introduce the film. This teaser is set to showcase the film’s grand scale, and Allu Arjun’s dual avatars are expected to be unveiled on his birthday (April 8).
