Eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification: Matriculation from a recognized board with a minimum one-year diploma in cooking/culinary arts from a recognized institute.
Experience: At least 3 years of cooking experience in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or government department.
Age limit
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 27 years
Age Relaxation: Applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
Selection process
Written Tests: Two objective-type exams covering General Knowledge (30 marks) and Cooking/Culinary Arts (70 marks).
Trade Skills Test: Assessment of cooking skills and hygiene, worth 70 marks.
Interview: Carrying 30 marks.
Total Marks: 200 marks. Candidates must achieve at least 60% in each component.
Duration: 1.5 hours for the tests, with no negative marking.
