Bhubaneswar: The IIFA 2025 Best Actor Award has been bestowed on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 star Kartik Aaryan. He clinched the best actor trophy for his comic timing and intense roles. Released along with Singham 3, the Kartik Aryan movie went on to become a super hit last year.
Mr Perfectionist Amir Khan’s former wife Kiran Rao helmed Laapataa Ladies swept the 25th IIFA awards. The film took home 10 awards. Krian Rao helmed comedy drama emerged as the biggest winner of the Sunday night.
Laapataa Ladies bagged Best Picture, Best Director for Kiran Rao and Best Actress for Nitanshi Goel. Ravi Kishan and Pratibha Ranta also scored wins for their stellar performances in the film.
Meanwhile, the high-octane thriller Kill also won multiple trophies with Raghav Juyal taking home the award for Best Performance in a Negative Role (Best Villain).
The BIG highlight of the IIFA award has been screening of cult-classic Sholay starring Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Amjad Khan, Hema Malini and Jaya Bhaduri. Homage has been paid the iconic film at the IIFA Award ceremony.
Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and Ek Do Teen girl Madhuri Dixit set the stage on fire with their scinitilating duet on Koi Ladki Hai ... of blockbuster Dil to Pagal hai.
IIFA also honoured the great showman of India Raj Kapoor for his 100-years legace in cinema. Raj Kapoor's granddaughter and popula actress Kareena Kapoor paid a heartfelt tribute to Raj Kapoor.
