Bhubaneswar: Being supported by Vedanta Aluminium, para judo athlete Mohan Sahu from Odisha’s tribal-dominated Kalahandi district clinched two bronze medals in the 13th National Para Judo Championship 2025 held in Lucknow, while representing the state.
Blessed as a talented athlete, Mohan demonstrated his prowess in the Junior JI (66 kg) and Senior JI (64 kg) categories. He is now preparing to represent India at the prestigious Asian Para Judo Championship 2025 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Mohan Sahu said, “I’m immensely grateful to Vedanta Aluminium for their support that has given me the confidence to compete at the highest levels. Their encouragement and assistance have been invaluable in my journey as a para-athlete. I’ll strive to make my country and supporters proud.”
