Bhubaneswar, May 6: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday took a jibe at the BJP and said that the saffron party is daydreaming of forming a government in Odisha.
Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claims that the BJP will form government in Odisha on June 4, Naveen said that the BJP has been daydreaming for many days.
In a video which went viral on social media, 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian is seen asking CM Naveen about BJP’s claim.
Meanwhile, Pandian said that Naveen Patnaik will take oath as the Chief Minister of Odisha for the sixth term on June 9 and script history. The swearing-in ceremony will take place between 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Pandian made the statement while addressing a rally at Bhawanipatna today.
Notably, PM Modi today claimed that the future of Odisha will change in the coming days and the current BJD government in Odisha will finish its time on June 4. On June 10, there will be a big swearing in ceremony with the formation of the new BJP government.
PM Modi made this claim while addressing a large crowd in Odisha's Berhampur at Kanishi Chowk ahead of the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in the state.
Notably, the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Odisha will be held simultaneously in four phases -- May 13, 20, 25, and June 1. The counting of votes will be done on June 4.
