Bhubaneswar, Oct 14: Lady blackmailer Archana Nag filed a bail petition once again on Friday. Following the deferment of the bail petition, Archana has applied afresh in Bhubaneswar Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) court. Sources said that Archana has been lodged in the Jharpada jail after she was apprehended by the Khandagiri police on October 8. Soon after her arrest, her advocates Sabyasachi Sutar and Debashis Mohapatra filed a bail petition which was deferred by the SDJM, Bhubaneswar. Advocate Debashis Mohapatra said the first bail petition was not entertained by the court. However, they are hopeful that Archana will be granted bail this time. Archana was booked under 16 Sections of the CrPc and IPC in connection with blackmailing prominent personalities, moneyed businessmen, and influential politicians.
