Cold wave likely to prevail in Odisha from January 20

COLD WAVE

Bhubaneswar: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a cold wave in Odisha from January 20.

The night temperature is likely to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius.

The regional IMD center has predicted that temperatures across most parts of the state will range from 13 to 15 degrees Celsius during this period.

 Several districts, including Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati, are also expected to face dense fog conditions on Wednesday and Thursday.

 The IMD's forecast further highlights that these same districts will continue to experience dense fog on Thursday.
