Mumbai, Feb 10: A complaint has been filed against popular social media personalities Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as 'BeerBiceps' and 'The Rebel Kid', along with comedian Samay Raina, for allegedly using 'abusive language' on the show 'India's Got Latent'.

The organizers of the show have also been booked along with the content creators. The complaint has been filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women's Commission, demanding strict action against the “accused” mentioned in the letter, news agency ANI reported.

”Such remarks were made with the intention of profiting from controversy, with no regard for the harm caused to women's dignity or the negative influence on young audiences, particularly minors, who might have been exposed to these comments,” alleged the letter cited in the report.

During the show, Allahbadia asked a controversial 'would you rather' question to a contestant about a sexual or intimate relationship between their parents. His remarks quickly went viral on social media, sparking outrage among netizens who strongly criticized Allahbadia.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was also questioned by reporters about the podcaster's remarks.

In response, he said, "I have heard about it, but I haven't seen it yet. The things that were said have been presented in the wrong way. Everyone has the freedom of speech, but our freedom ends when we infringe upon the freedom of others.”
