The Odisha Crime Branch is going to open up the truth concealed behind the assassination of the potential leader at Jharsuguda.
In a significant development took place on Tuesday, the Odisha Crime Branch re-opened the Naba Das murder case and began re-investigation into the matter.
In a first, the Crime Brach sleuths vistited Jharsuguda, recorded the statements of Das’ family members including his spouse Minati, son Vishal and daughter Dipali.
The probe began at late Naba Das’ residence at Sarbahal in Jharsuguda district today.
Worth mentioning, the bereaved family members of late Naba Das were keen for a Crime Branch investigation. However, they had not yet formally requested either the Odisha government or the Home Department for reinvestigation of the suspicious murder case by an independent investigation agency.
