Bhubaneswar, Oct 27: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Sunday conducted an aerial survey of cyclone Dana affected areas in Odisha.
Majhi conducted aerial survey of coastal areas of Paradip, Mahakalpada, Rajnagar, Rajkanika, and Chandabali.
During the aerial survey of cyclone-affected areas, CM Majhi was accompanied by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari and Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja.
After the aerial survey, the Chief Minister directed concerned departments to immediately assess the damage.
Earlier today, the Revenue Minister informed a total of 35.95 lakh people in Odisha have been impacted by cyclone Dana and subsequent flooding in 14 districts.
Pujari also said as many as 8,10,896 people were evacuated to 6,210 cyclone relief centres.
The worst-hit districts include Kendrapara, Balasore and Bhadrak.
