Bhubaneswar, October 23: In anticipation of the severe cyclonic storm 'Dana,' the Orissa High Court has announced its closure on October 24 and 25, 2024.
To compensate for the lost days, the court has declared November 30 (Saturday) and December 7 (Saturday) as working days. The decision was communicated via a notification issued on Wednesday.
"In partial modification to the Court’s earlier notification, it is hereby notified that due to the severe cyclonic storm ‘Dana,’ the functioning of the Court and its offices will remain suspended on October 24 and 25, 2024. To make up for the closure, November 30 and December 7, 2024, will be Court working days," the notification stated.
