Bhubaneswar, Mar 4: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi today announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh for two Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) job aspirants who lost their lives during physical tests.
As per reports, the assistance amount will be provided from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF).
CM Majhi expressed deep sorrow over the incident and extended his condolences to the bereaved families.
It is worth mentioning that the physical test was being conducted for the recruitment of Forest Guards, Foresters, and Livestock Inspectors. Byomkesh Nayak from Keonjhar and Prabin Kumar Panda from Sundargarh were taking the physical test when they died.
