Balasore, Nov 24: In a tragic incident a driver was charred to death on Sunday after the container he was operating, violently tossed the toll gate.
According to reports, the container was on its way from Kolkata to Tamil Nadu via Odisha's Balasore. Meanwhile, the vehicle rammed into a cabin at the toll gate and caught fire reportedly due to unclear whether. Before, coming off the vehicle the driver was charred completely whereas the helper had managed to jump off.
Jaleswar olice, Fire services personnel rushed to the spot controlled the fire and shifted one toll plazza official to the hospital for treatment.
The identification of the driver is yet to be ascertained.The body is awaited to be postmortemed, said the SDPO Jaleswar.
